In the most special traditional Moroccan mint tea servings, ambergris fragrance was added briefly to the pot immediately before serving. Ambergris, a byproduct of the sperm whale’s digestive tract, is no longer available except as a synthetic reproduction. As a result, the special tea infusers known as “anibrat” are no longer in use, but are now prized by collectors as beads, pendants or simply mementos. Our anibrats feature intricate engraving and silver filigree braid in loops, swirls, circles and spirals. May be purchased individually or as a small collection.
